Cis forConversation
Dis forDiscussion
When two or more people are discussing something, they are having a discussion.
Drawing is a way of putting a picture you have in your head (or something you can see) onto a piece of paper, using your hands and a pen or pencil. Drawing is different to writing, as you are putting down a literal picture of what you are thinking about instead of writing the words to describe it letter-by-letter.
You explain something when you make something easy to understand, or say how to do it in easy steps.
An explanation for something is a reason for it.
Graffiti is writing or drawing somewhere you are not allowed to write or draw. You usually find graffiti in train stations or anywhere there is a big empty wall.
Some graffiti is just messy vandalism, but some can be very artistic. Graffiti is against the law in most countries and in some places you can go to prison if you are caught graffiting.
His forHieroglyph
Hieroglyphics are an older form of writing made up of pictures. Each picture, or hieroglyph, can represent a concept (such as daytime or spring), a phonetic sound, or simply be a drawing of an object to be taken literally.
Ancient hieroglyphs were like our alphabet today - not everyone could read or write in hieroglyphs, only those that were taught how to.
You instruct someone when you tell them what to do in small, helpful steps.
The man in the picture is instructing the woman.
