Jelly, also called jam is a way of preserving fruit. Jelly is made from fruit cooked with sugar and then sealed into a jar. Strawberry jelly, as shown in the picture, is one of the most popular flavours. Jelly that is made from citrus fruits like oranges and lemons is called marmalade.
In some countries, only clear jelly without any bits of fruit left in it is called jelly. In some other countries, jello is called jelly.

Some jellyfish are poisonous and their sting can kill a person. It is best to avoid touching a jellyfish if you don't know what sort it is.

Jet is black and has been used to make jewellery for many years. It was quite popular to make mourning jewellery, for wearing at funerals.

A jet is the common name given to any airplane that is powered by jet engines rather than propellers. Most modern aircraft are powered by jet engines, so people tend to refer to smaller, faster military aircraft as jets.
